We're thinking of going to the premiere for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, but was just wondering what time we should get there for to ensure we're at the front of the barriers? We went to Twilight and arrived around 5ish but we're guessing theres gonna be more people for HP. Has anybody acutally been to a HP premiere or have any idea what time we should get there for? Thanks very much!
Preferred Answer: Twilight was packed like crazy! And since this is Harry Potter and it's been around longer, you should try going about 30-90 minutes early. That way you can get your tickets, and get great seats.

I just rented this game for Wii and I've been trying to direct him to walk using my controller and nun chuck he either goes in circles or turns around. I've tried to direct him and I just can't get him to move forward. Is anybody else having this problem or am I either A. a dumbass B. doing it wrong or C. my disc is broke ?
Preferred Answer: All you have to do to direct Harry is use the control stick on the nunchuck by moving it to the direction you want him to move. If you want Harry to run, push the 'Z' button on the nunchuck while walking. If he is still going around in circles then the nunchuck must have been moved out of its neutral position. For correct game play, the nunchuck must be in neutral position (in the middle) when the Wii console is being turned on. If you didn't do that then you can reset it by making sure the control is in the neutral position and then hold down 'A', 'B', Plus (+) and Minus (-) buttons at the same time for 3 seconds on your Wii Remote. Hope this helps :)

it never happens in the book so how/why did the director incorporate that scene into the move?
Preferred Answer: ditto on mid J but I also think the scene was probably added to play up more how bad Voldemort is. In the last movie, he was still hiding so there was a limit to how much evil he could really get up to. But, this is the book he's really killing lots of people right and left. But in the book, you mostly just hear about it, you don't see it. So for the movie, they wanted to show the audience how bad a guy Voldemort unleashed really is. So they show the dementors taking down the bridge rather than just talk about it. And they have the deatheaters attack the burrow. Both scenes give the deatheaters and Voldemort time to really be bad and gives immediacy to Harry's quest. I think both might be a good move.

I don't understand why these important horcruxes (ring memory, nagini, hufflepuff cup, and diadem) were left out of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie. Can someone please explain the writer's reason to omit these? And how will they make up for it in the seventh movie?
Preferred Answer: This memory wasn't strictly necessary. While it does explain why Voldemort chooses some items to use as Horcruxes, it doesn't advance the plot. In the seventh one, I imagine they'll have Hermione or Harry reason that Voldemort would want to use items that hold a special significance to his talents and to Hogwarts. That's how the writer seem to operate, anyway. And, believe me, I hated that they omitted this scene.

I just finished the book last week and I don't remember that ring of fire from the preview, or them running through some field. Did I accidently skip a chapter? Haha.
Preferred Answer: I just finished re-reading the 6th book to see if i missed a chapter haha but the only thing that was really a big fire was when dumbledore set those dead people from that cave place and hagrids hut catching fire... but i saw a clip from the movie of ginny running through the field after bellatrix who set the ring of fire around that other house which i think is the burrows. but that didnt happed in the book but apparantly it does in the movie... i dont know but i still cant wait :D

Won't the writers have to make up tons of stuff to make it fit to the parts they left out of the sixth?
Preferred Answer: umm..those are questions that people that dont direct the movie cant answer...you are just gonna have to wait until the next movie comes out and see..

What are your predictions? Most likely, it's going to be HP6 because that appeals to everyone, males and females, New Moon only appeals to females. What do you think? I like both franchises, though!
Preferred Answer: well i love twilight but today HP6 ( the first day) it brought $104 milllion, and that's in one day think about it in just a few days so i think HP6.

I love Harry Potter so I just got done reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and reading year 7 now but don't you think it was crazy that Dumbledore always trusted and defended Snape and he gets betrayed by him!! Oh I didn't know book 7 would answer that :)
Preferred Answer: Yeah man, I was so suprised myself when that happened in Book 6. But as everyone said, keep reading dear, it'll all make sense in Book 7 and it's AWESOME... so enjoy!!!! =)
